The Farmers Defence
Section 7 of the deer act 1991
Under Certain circumstance Farmers and Landowners have the right to protect their crops during the closed hunting season.
With the correct documentation in place and the authorities informed, We are in a position to protect your crops from Deer damage all year round providing we act within the guidelines laid out.
Last summer we had a call from a farmer whose wheat was under attack from a heard of fallow who were lying down flattening the crop during the day then browsing off the ripe ears of wheat during the evening. It took several visits before they got the message and decided there were safer places hang out.
IF DEER ARE CAUSING DAMAGE ON YOUR LAND AND YOU WOULD LIKE THE NUMBERS REDUCED, OR YOU ARE SEEING INJURED ANIMALS WITH BROKEN LEGS OR WIRE AROUND THEIR ANTLERS,
PLEASE GIVE US A CALL
Testimonial Febuary 2015
Sussex Deer Control started controlling the deer population on our farm this winter, and we have found them to be professional, friendly and very successful! I am happy to recommend them. And they recently gave us the most wonderful venison sausages.....
